Acupuncture Insurance Coverage

Many healthcare insurance plans have acupuncture as a covered modality with various ranges of reimbursement. We will bill your insurance directly for acupuncture related procedures and diagnoses if you have the appropriate acupuncture insurance coverage.

These are some of the more common insurance companies that we often work with:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross PPO
  • Blue Shield PPO, EPO
  • Cigna
  • Healthsmart
  • United Healthcare

Acupuncture insurance coverage depends on your individual plan. If you’d like to know if your health insurance provides acupuncture coverage for services that I provide, please download, complete, and email (bdierauf@gmail.com) or fax (925-403-1001) the Acupuncture Insurance Coverage Inquiry Form, along with digital photos of the front and back of your Health Insurance Card.

Health Savings Accounts

Acupuncture is a legitimate expense for reimbursement from Health Savings Accounts.
