Acupuncture benefits all of the conditions listed below. Most of these come from a list by the World Health Organization of diseases and disorders. In my 25+ years of practice I have treated all of the conditions—and many more—successfully.
If your condition is not listed or if you have questions, please use this form or contact me at (925) 297-4785. I’m happy to meet with you and offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or in person to learn more about what’s going on with you and give you my best sense of how well acupuncture can help you.
Most likely you will find that acupuncture benefits you beyond the treatment of symptoms. Acupuncture addresses the root cause of imbalance in your body, and it can affect you positively on an emotional and energetic level as well. After your treatment you may feel calmer, more focused and more energetic as your body resets itself and comes into balance. For more information, please see my page on Questions about Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.
While acupuncture is a subtle and powerful form of medicine, generally speaking, one session of acupuncture is usually not enough to affect the change you’d like to see (although it does happen). I usually recommend a series of 3-6 sessions for a treatment plan, depending on your condition, after which you should be making significant progress.
